Business Development Manager

Marlin Media is an iGaming lead-generation and technology company building products for the content and performance side of the industry.

Our B2B SaaS platform, marvnBoost (boost.marvn.ai), generates fact-checked iGaming content at scale: slot reviews, casino reviews, news articles, guides and more.

The platform launched in May 2026 and serves operators, game providers, affiliates and content publishers across regulated markets.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to own new business for our Enterprise tier and build the commercial engine behind the product.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with an established network in the iGaming industry and a track record of closing consultative B2B deals.

You will be responsible for identifying operators, providers, affiliates and publishers with a content operations problem, qualifying whether marvnBoost solves it, and taking the opportunity through to signed contract.

Enterprise deals at marvnBoost are custom content pipelines, often involving knowledge base, database and CRM integrations. That means multi-stakeholder conversations with content leads, SEO leads, product and, on the operator side, compliance.

You will need to be comfortable discussing how content is generated, verified and integrated, not only pitching the outcome.

Alongside closing revenue, you will help turn what currently works into a documented, repeatable process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of B2B sales or business development experience within iGaming, selling to operators, providers, affiliates or publishers.
  • An existing network of decision makers in the sector that you can activate from your first month.
  • Proven track record of closing new business in consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, with figures you can talk through in detail.
  • Ability to hold a technical conversation about content workflows, SEO and data integration. You do not need to be an engineer, but you need to understand what you are selling.
  • Comfort operating without an established playbook, and the discipline to document one as you go.
  • Strong commercial judgement on pricing, scoping and qualifying out deals that are not a fit.
  • Professional-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development
    • Build and work a target account list across operators, game providers, affiliates and content publishers in priority markets.
    • Run outbound prospecting through direct outreach, LinkedIn and your existing industry network.
    • Convert industry relationships and event conversations into qualified opportunities.
    • Own the top of the funnel. This is a hunting role, not an inbound queue.

  • Consultative Selling and Deal Management
    • Run discovery to map the prospect’s current content operation: volume, cost per asset, team structure, accuracy standards and compliance requirements.
    • Deliver product walkthroughs, including how our architecture produces different results from general purpose AI tooling.
    • Scope Enterprise content pipelines together with the product team, covering knowledge base, database and CRM integration requirements.
    • Lead commercial negotiation and close, including pricing, contract terms and handover to onboarding.

  • Industry Presence and Events
    • Represent marvnBoost at industry events including SBC Summit Lisbon, SiGMA and ICE.
    • Maintain visibility in industry conversations where content accuracy, compliance and AI-generated content are being debated.
    • Report back on competitor positioning, pricing and recurring objections.

  • Pipeline Management and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate CRM records, with deal stages backed by evidence rather than estimates.
    • Provide regular reporting on pipeline value, conversion rates, sales cycle length and closed revenue.
    • Forecast reliably enough for the business to plan delivery capacity against it.

  • Collaboration and Market Feedback
    • Work closely with the product and content teams to align commitments made in the sales process with what gets delivered.
    • Feed objections, lost reasons and feature requests back into the product roadmap.
    • Contribute to the commercial playbook: qualification criteria, objection handling and pricing logic.

Desired Skills

  • Experience selling SaaS or content services rather than media or affiliate deals alone.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content production workflows from the buyer’s side.
  • Experience as an early or first commercial hire in a startup environment.
  • Working knowledge of regulated market compliance requirements as they apply to content.
  • Additional languages relevant to our priority markets.
