Marlin Media is proud to share that two of our key platforms, fiebredecasino.com and febredecassino.com, are now officially CO2 neutral. This achievement reflects our continued commitment to sustainability and responsible digital publishing.

How It Works
Every website has a carbon footprint. From servers powering content delivery to the energy used by visitors accessing the sites, digital platforms consume electricity and produce emissions. Through our partnership with the CO2 Neutral Website initiative, we’ve taken steps to calculate the emissions from both platforms and offset them through certified environmental projects.
The initiative determines our CO2 emissions based on website traffic, server energy consumption, and typical user behavior. We then contribute financially to projects that actively reduce or prevent emissions in parts of the world where the impact is greatest.
Supporting Certified Climate Projects
Our offset contributions directly support Gold Standard-certified projects. These initiatives are independently verified and designed to deliver meaningful environmental and social outcomes. Some of the projects we are contributing to include:
Solar Energy in India
We support two major solar projects in the state of Maharashtra. One delivers clean energy directly to agricultural communities, improving electricity access and reducing the need for fossil fuel-based power. The other is a 200 MW plant that feeds clean energy into the national grid, replacing nearly 394,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year. Both projects also create local jobs and boost agricultural productivity by stabilizing energy access for farmers.
Wind and Water Energy Projects

Our investments also include wind power projects in India, Turkey, and Denmark. These projects generate clean, renewable energy that helps shift entire regions away from fossil fuels.
Although we don’t count wind turbine investments in our CO2 offset calculations, they remain a key part of our broader climate strategy. The revenue from these facilities is reinvested into future energy projects, supporting long-term CO2 reduction goals.
Clean Water Projects in Africa
In rural areas of Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Sierra Leone, many families boil water to make it safe for drinking. This not only consumes firewood but also releases CO2 and contributes to indoor air pollution.
By supporting water drilling projects, we help bring clean drinking water directly to these communities. This reduces emissions, improves public health, and saves time for families—especially women—who are often responsible for water collection and purification.

These safe water projects are developed with trusted local partners and are fully listed in the Gold Standard global registry. By focusing on areas not included in international CO2 permit trading, we maximize both environmental impact and social benefit.
Our Long-Term Commitment to Carbon Neutrality
Sustainability is not a one-time action but a long-term commitment. By making our two most visited websites CO2 neutral, we are taking a meaningful first-step toward reducing our digital carbon footprint while supporting communities around the world.
The CO2 neutral badge is now proudly displayed on both sites. To learn more about the initiative and the projects we support, visit co2neutralwebsite.com and goldstandard.org.
